The winter is cold and occasionally snowy. Spring arrives gradually during April and May. The days are cool or warm and the nights cool. Summer has warm days with brief “heat waves” when the temperature exceeds 90 degrees. Summer evenings are generally cool. As a coastal city, the area is generally more humid than inland cities.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TUFTS:
One often overlooked aspect of going to college at Tufts is the unique location of its campus. Not only is Boston America’s premier ‘college town’ but the Tufts campus is practically next door to the campuses of both Harvard and MIT! It would be a long walk but an easy bike ride or a 2 minute MBTA (bus or subway public transit) to get between the campuses of all three schools.
