General Weather Description:
Providence's climate is humid continental, with warm summers, cold winters, and high humidity year-round. The influence of the Atlantic Ocean keeps Providence a bit warmer than many inland locales in New England. Providence enjoys four distinctly different seasons. The summers are warm. Spring and fall feature comfortably warm or cool days and cool nights. The spring blooming flowers and vibrant fall foliage are striking. Winter is cold and snowy with less sunlight than many areas of the country.
