General Weather Description:
Boston has a “continental climate” with four distinct and different seasons. The Fall has warm or cool days and cool or cold nights. It features brilliant foliage colors. The winter is cold and occasionally snowy. Spring arrives gradually during April and May. The days are cool or warm and the nights cool. Summer has warm days with brief “heat waves” when the temperature exceeds 90 degrees. Summer evenings are generally cool. As a coastal city, the area is generally more humid than inland cities.
